An exciting opportunity has arisen for a publicist to join the Hodder & Stoughton communications team, with particular responsibility for the Sceptre list. We are looking for someone with a passion for literary fiction and non-fiction who is capable of securing innovative and widespread PR coverage, as well as working closely with their editorial, marketing and sales colleagues to deliver fully integrated campaigns that drive sales and raise author profiles.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience in book PR. They should have strong media and events contacts in the world of literary publishing, excellent communication and social media skills, a track record for delivering creative and highly effective campaigns, and an ability to offer exceptional author care. They will enjoy developing partnerships and arranging author events with bookshops, festivals and other organisations. They will be curious, energetic and highly-motivated, as well as efficient and organised.
