We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced publicist to join Hodder & Stoughton’s award-winning publicity department.

Hodder & Stoughton, part of Hachette UK, was founded 150 years ago and is the publishing home of bestselling authors including John Grisham, Stephen King, Jodi Picoult, David Nicholls, Graham Norton, Erin Kelly, Gordon Ramsay, Deliciously Ella, Lucy Worsley and Michael Caine.
What you’ll be doing
The successful candidate will work across a wide range of commercial fiction and non-fiction titles, including reading group fiction, women’s fiction, crime and thriller, cookery, and celebrity memoir.
Who we’re looking for
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of planning and implementing their own publicity campaigns, organising events and delivering exceptional author care. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, well-organised and creative, with excellent communication skills and established media contacts. You will have a passion for commercial fiction in particular, and will have a strong understanding of all the elements needed to make a title commercially successful.

Salary: £35 – 40K, dependent on experience
