don’t worry about titles—if you’re a talented publicist who’s passionate about books and big
ideas, we want to hear from you!

Why Us?
We’re an award-winning, fast-growing agency with a team of 9, leading the way in PR for

 Craft punchy, engaging press releases that journalists can’t ignore
 Brainstorm fresh, creative ideas and research angles for standout campaigns
 Write thought-provoking leadership articles and media-friendly ‘top tips’ pieces
 Provide top-tier care to our authors while managing expectations

Skills & Experience:
We’re looking for someone with at least 3 years’ experience in non-fiction PR, though
journalists or PR pros with expert profiling experience are welcome, too! You should also:
 Be a natural communicator and talented copywriter
 Have strong relationships with journalists
 Possess the grit and resilience to get results
 Thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
 Love writing persuasive pitches
 Have a keen interest in current affairs and news trends
 Enjoy working within a close-knit, fun, and supportive team

Why You’ll Love It Here:
At The Book Publicist, your happiness matters. We’re all about flexibility and making work
work for you! This role is remote-first, with regular in-person social events – we’ve done
pottery classes, foraging, den building, prison escape rooms and mindfulness. We also enjoy

bi-monthly creative days in beautiful Herefordshire, and plenty of chances to connect with
your colleagues. You’ll also enjoy:
 A competitive salary of £28,000 – £36,000 + quarterly bonus
 Flexible working hours—full-time or part-time considered
 20 days annual leave, plus bonus time off (including your birthday and the week
between Christmas and New Year!)
 The option to buy back extra holiday
 Remote working support with travel compensation for meetings
